Our Dentists

Dr. Tim Nichols was raised in Arvada and enjoys being able to practice pediatric dentistry so close to where he grew up. After studying Psychology at Boston College, Dr. Nichols returned to his home state and completed dental school at the University of Colorado. After graduating with honors, he completed the residency program in pediatric dentistry at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Since completing his residency program, Dr. Nichols has worked in private practice and public health settings in Boulder County and Denver. In 2009, Dr. Nichols became a board-certified pediatric dentist by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Nichols has been included in 5280 Magazine's list of top pediatric dentists in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.

When he isn't trying to make a trip to the dentist fun for one of his patients, Dr. Nichols is usually hanging out with his wife, Katy (another product of Arvada), sons, James, Mac and Benny, and dog, Ringo. They love to go to the mountains and Colorado Rockies games. Dr. Nichols truly enjoys trying to make each child's dental experience as positive as it can be. He looks forward to meeting your family and teaching you all great habits to help prevent tooth decay and gum disease.

Dr. Jenna Milot was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, a true Colorado native! Dr. Jenna attended the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!) where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies. Colorado drew her back for dental school and she graduated with honors from University of Colorado Health Sciences Center (Dr. Jenna and Dr. Tim were in the same class in dental school!). After completing two years of additional general dentistry training at the VA Medical Center in Denver, Dr. Jenna decided that her true interest involved shaping children’s attitudes toward oral health and dental care. Dr. Jenna earned a certificate in pediatric dentistry from Oregon Health Sciences University residency program and was awarded board certification from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Upon graduating from residency, Dr. Jenna opened a solo private practice in Portland, Oregon called Sprout Pediatric Dentistry. Sprout blossomed into a thriving pediatric dental practice, yet Dr. Jenna could not shake the urge to move home. After much thought, Dr. Jenna and her kids, Bennett and Ginger, moved back to Colorado to settle deep roots. Dr. Jenna is so excited to meet every family at LPD and to create a fun environment where every child feels welcome and safe. When Dr. Jenna isn’t counting teeth and making kids smile, she and her family can be found enjoying the outdoors, doing DIY house projects, or just simply hanging out with family and friends.

Dr. Michelle Ferraioli grew up in Rochester, NY. She graduated with honors from Binghamton University where she received her degree in Environmental Science. She then received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Stony Brook University where she was elected by her classmates to be President of her class. While in dental school, Dr. Michelle received numerous awards for leadership, community service, and promise in the field of pediatric dentistry. Following dental school, she received her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry from Columbia University-New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Dr. Michelle is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association, and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. 

Dr. Michelle strives to make every visit a comfortable and fun experience for both the child and their family. She understands all children are unique and that the key to a successful visit is trust and communication. When not at work, Dr. Michelle lives in Erie with her husband, daughter, son, and dog. She enjoys cooking, hiking and reading.
